Community Outreach Program

CRT’s Trauma Treatment Program provides direct community-based clinical services, including psychological screening and assessment, short- and long-term trauma-focused psychotherapy, caregiver support and psychoeducation, advocacy and case management.  We also address traumatic stress on a systemic level, recognizing the significant need for professional in-service training and consultation regarding the effects childhood traumatic stress as well as best practices for intervention and prevention.  CRT has forged integral partnerships with local schools and community agencies, which allow us to work directly with children and families where they live.

CRT’s clinical team currently provides services in nine community-based locations:

  • Chicago Jesuit Academy (Austin)
  • Edgar Allan Poe Classical School (North Pullman)
  • Johnson College Prep High School (Englewood)
  • Noble Street College Prep High School (West Town)
  • SOS Children’s Villages Illinois (Auburn Gresham and Lockport)
  • Family Focus Englewood (West Englewood)
  • House of the Good Shepherd- domestic violence shelter (Chicago’s northside)
  • Mujeres Latinas en Acción (Pilsen)
